Start: Find a quiet spot in your home or yard to do your yoga poses.
Belly Breath Waves
Lie down on your back. Put a small toy (like this rubber ducky) on your belly.
Breathe in slowly through your nose. Watch the toy move up as your belly fills with air.
Breathe out slowly through your nose. Watch the toy move down as air empties out of your belly.
It is important that we practice good breathing during yoga. Repeat this exercise a few more times. Your toy will look like it is swimming up and down on the waves of your belly breath!
